Akane Higure

The younger sister of Higure Sui.

She is a middle school student living in Kagami Village. She is the second daughter of the Higurashi family and is very close to her older sister. Although she loves her older sister, she also feels inferior and jealous of her sister who can do anything. Although she is a bit of a standoffish girl outside, she still has a childlike side to her, such as when she builds up her self-esteem through conversations with her pet medaka fish.
